Floating 1 (Straight)

Brother Maars

Floating 1 (Straight), 2021

Oil on sheetrock

114.3 x 152.4 (cm) | 45 x 60 (in)

This collectors piece features the six Brother Maars’ ROYGBIV silhouettes representing the seven chakras (the crown being invisible). The serpent in the shape of an “8” is really a sideways infinity symbol that represents feminine energy stored in each of our bases, full of life and death at the same time.

One is straight, the other is a rainbow. They work together.

Notable: Both pieces have been featured in the La Junta Tribune-Democrat, Opera News and Newsbreak. (May 4, 2021)
